A Friend from Home in Wales

So my friend Megan Ebling (from my undergraduate degree at Lebanon Valley College) came to visit me this last week. Once we got her from the Manchester Airport (which managed to be quite the debacle, as she decided to choose the one day in the year we have snow to fly in), we made it to Conwy, Llanberis, Llandudno, Chester, and Betws-y-coed. I try my best to keep my Instagram updated, but, as you can see, even this array of pictures is much wider ranged in the week than what I could post. As it were, if I posted all of the beautiful pictures I had from the year, I'd annoy everyone that follows me with my #flexx.
I was excited to bring Megan to the places I had been before, as well as exploring the new and beautiful places I had yet to see like Llanberis and Betws-y-coed.
Since I'm meant to be doing my Master's degree here (I know, you probably think I don't do Uni work here with all of the beautiful pictures that show up on my Instagram. Well, joke's on you because I do my work on the train rides there and on the days in which my legs are recovering from overuse), I had meetings, presentations, and such to drag her to, but she was a good sport.
Even with the intermittent work, I fell behind this week (as one tends to do with a self-motivated work schedule) so this week will be much more work and much less play.
As Wiz Khalifa says, "Work hard play hard".
More soon,
Katie
